Overview
The Game Plan is a 2007 comedy movie starred by The Rock and directed by Andy Fickman. This is the final movie in which Johnson uses his ring name "The Rock." This is also the final Disney movie to be distributed by Buena Vista, because of Disney semi-retiring the name in May 2007, building all new future Disney movies (starting with Enchanted) lastingly distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

The movie is successfully grossed $90,636,983 in the U.S market and $56,625,444 in foreign ticket sales and brought it to a grand total of $147,262,427 against the production estimated cost of US$22 million. In its first weekend, it successfully opened at #1 at the box office grossing $22,950,971 in 3,103 theaters and averaging $7,396 per venue. This as well as the $45.79 million the movie profited on DVD in its continue on the Top 50 chart, undoubtedly makes this movie a profitable venture for Disney.

Short details of the story
Dwayne Johnson “The Rock" as Joe Kingman grabs up once again the sports-themed comedy regarding a football superstar who abandons the call of a fatherhood responsibility. Joe Kingman was a star quarterback meant for prominence and he's got all the money and recognition that a man could wish for out of life. A permanent single whose one concise marriage ended numerous moons ago, Kingman is astonished to discover that a long-forgotten young fling had more everlasting penalty than he ever expected. At this time, just as his profession is set to blow up superior than ever, this everlasting bachelor learns that he has a seven-year-old daughter named Peyton (Madison Pettis). So how does a lifetime jock that is used to going party all night and adjusts to a life of barbie dolls, ballet classes afternoon play dates, etc.?
