Short details of the story
The sequel to the low-budget blockbuster Paranormal Activity gets place a small number of months prior to the events of the first movie. Katie (Katie Featherston), the great put-upon primary lady in the original, has a sister living in an upscale Los Angeles village named Kristi (Sprague Grayden). Kristi has a new baby son, Hunter; a amiable lug of a husband named Daniel (Brian Boland), who owns numerous fast-food joints; a young stepdaughter from her hubby's first nuptials, Ali (Molly Ephraim); and a huge, gracious dog. As the family gets used to the innovative arrival, weird noises are heard tardy at night and when they get nearer at home from an outing, they notice the house has been messy, even though none of their valuables have been stolen.
Daniel responds by putting a security system and a system of surveillance cameras, though that doesn't prevent the noises or the Latino housekeeper's resolve that spirits lurk in the home. When Katie and her boyfriend, Micah (Micah Sloat), discontinue by for a visit, they argue the weird goings-on with Kristi; the women of the residence suppose to believe supernatural forces are at work, while the men find that idea silly. That doesn't last long, as the spirits get noisier and angrier, especially when Ali begins doing a little examine on the subject, and earlier than long the security of the household is being threatened on a number of fronts, perhaps due to some filthy dealings in the family's distant past.
