Overview
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is a 2011 adventure fantasy movie and the fourth chapter in the Pirates of the Caribbean progression. Gore Verbinski, who had directed the three prior films, got replaced by Rob Marshall, despite the fact that Jerry Bruckheimer once more served as producer. In the movie, which pictures inspiration from the book On Stranger Tides by Tim Powers, Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) is united by Angelica (Penélope Cruz) in his exploration for the Fountain of Youth, confronting the well-known pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane).
The movie was launched by Walt Disney Pictures, and had its theatrical entrance in discharge dates falling within May 18 and May 20, 2011. Writers Terry Rossio and Ted Elliott initially learned of Powers' novel throughout the back-to-back production of Dead Man's Chest and At World's End, and carefully considered it a well opening point for a new movie in the series. Pre-production started on track after the end of the 2007–2008. Writers Guild of America strike, with Johnny Depp joining with the writers on the story’s blueprint.

Short details of the story
It catches the enjoyment, adventure and hilarity that ignited the hit franchise. Johnny Depp comes back to his iconic character of Captain Jack Sparrow in an action-packed adventure. Crossing fate with the mysterious Angelica (Penelope Cruz), he’s not sure if it’s love—or if she’s a merciless con artist who’s by means of him to uncover the fabled Fountain of Youth.
When she forces him on board the “Queen Anne’s Revenge,” the ship of the well-known pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane), Jack finds himself on an unanticipated adventure in which he doesn’t recognize whom to fright more: Blackbeard or Angelica, with whom he shares a mystifying past. The worldwide cast includes franchise vets Geoffrey Rush as the resentful Captain Hector Barbossa and Kevin R. McNally as Captain Jack’s longtime buddy Joshamee Gibbs, in addition of Sam Claflin as a stalwart disciple and Astrid Berges-Frisbey as a strange mermaid.
