Thor (2011 movie)

Overview
Thor is a 2011 American superhero movie based on the comic book casts of the similar name in print by Marvel Comics. It is the fourth movie distributed as branch of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The movie was directed by Kenneth Branagh, written by Ashley Edward Miller. The movie pictures the story of Thor, a god who is exiled from his motherland of Asgard to Earth. While there, he constructed a affair with scientist Jane Foster.

On the other hand, Thor must prevent his brother Loki, who intends to turn into the new king of Asgard. Director Sam Raimi primary developed the perception of a movie adaptation of Thor in 2001, but shortly abandoned the project, leaving it in "development hell" for numerous years. Throughout this time, the rights were pulled out up by a variety of movie studios until Marvel Studios signed Mark Protosevich to build up the project in 2006, and the development was set up at Paramount Pictures. Matthew Vaughn was initially assigned to direct the movie for an uncertain 2010 release. Nonetheless, after Vaughn was released from his share deal in 2008, Branagh was approached and the movie's release was rescheduled into 2011.
