Megamind (2010 movie)

Overview
Megamind is a 2010 3D computer-animated superhero action comedy film. It was directed by Tom McGrath and produced by DreamWorks Animation and Red Hour Productions, and disseminated by Paramount Pictures. It features the voices of Will Ferrell, Brad Pitt, Tina Fey, David Cross, and Jonah Hill.

Megamind acknowledged optimistic reviews from the majority critics, with the film garnering a 72% "fresh" rating on review aggregate Rotten Tomatoes based on 166 reviews with an average rating of 6.6/10. Its agreement states the film regurgitates plot points from previous animated hard works, and isn't fairly as funny as it should be, but a top-shelf voice cast and strong visuals help make Megamind a enjoyable, if unspectacular, diversion.

Another review aggregate, Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 top reviews from conventional critics, deliberate an average score of 64 based on 32 reviews.

Short Details of the Story
From the studio that brought you Shrek, Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda, Megamind is the most brilliant supervillain the world has ever known. Over the years, he has tried to overcome Metro City in every conceivable way. But a massive failure in each attempt because of the superhero known as Metro Man, an indestructible hero until the day Megamind actually kills him in one of his messed up evil plans. Suddenly, Megamind realizes of having no purpose after the death of Metro Man just like “a supervillain without a superhero” .

Megamind decides that the only way out of his groove is to produce a new hero enemy called Titan, who promises to be superior, improved and stronger than Metro Man ever was. But Titan starts to think it's much more amusing to be a villain than a fine guy. Except Titan doesn't just desire to rule the world, he wants to annihilate it. Now, Megamind must make a decision: can he defeat his own ideal creation? Can the world's smartest man make the smart verdict for once? Can the evil genius become the unlikely hero of his own chronicle?
