Overview
Scream 4 is a 2011 American slasher film and the fourth episode in the Scream movie cycle. Directed by Wes Craven and written by Kevin Williamson, author of Scream and Scream 2, the movie stars an group cast which includes David Arquette, Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, Emma Roberts, and Hayden Panettiere. Originally, the series was proposed to be a trilogy, but later than ten years, Bob Weinstein considerate it was the exact time for another film. Depending on the box office, Scream 4 is supposed to be the first of a latest trilogy.

Williamson had to disappear from production early because of contractual obligations and Ehren Kruger (Scream 3) was brought in for re-writes. Campbell, Arquette and Cox are the merely recurring cast members from the prior films and were the foremost to sign on to the movie in September 2009. Panettiere and Rory Culkin were new cast to sign on in May 2010. Ashley Greene was primarily the choice of the lead character, Jill, but the responsibility eventually went to Roberts. Filming situated in and around Ann Arbor, Michigan in June 2010 to September 2010, with re-shoots in early on 2011.

Short details of the story
Sidney Prescott, at the present the author of a self-help book, proceeds home to Woodsboro on the final stop of her book visit. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey and Gale, who are at the moment married, as well as her cousin Jill and her Aunt Kate. Unluckily, Sidney's appearance also brings about the comeback of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the complete town of Woodsboro in danger.
